| Cool riffage. Keep up the polyrythmic rythms, they sound tight and chaotic. |

| There's nothing I appreciate more about music than the crafty musicians that make the music. "Emerging" is going to go down as a slept-on album, especially here in the States. This record has the same impact on me as Cynic's debut, "Focus", Meshuggah's "Chaosphere", & Opeth's "Deliverance". For a brief while, I sat there thinking, "What in the fuck am I listening to? This shit is bananas. I'm a bit lost in this sound". But once, I was locked into the grooves, I was absolutely hooked. In an instant, I understood the madness and I loved it.
All that being said, you are an extremely talented group. While I'm glad that you remind me of the aforementioned bands, I'm more excited that you have your own heavy, complex and unique sound. You are an important step in the evolution of metal music.
Keep it gutta, keep it grimey.
One love!
ps: Get some shows in the US of A, gosh damnit! |
